We’re excited to announce the launch of The Mix, a new group for LGBTQIA+ young people aged 12–19 in Islington, funded by Islington Council LYTP.
The Mix offers a safe, welcoming space where young people can come together to talk openly about the issues that matter to them, explore identity without judgement, and build confidence and emotional resilience through creative activities. Allies, questioning and queer young people are all warmly welcome to connect with others in a positive, inclusive environment.
Expect arts and crafts, games, a collaborative zine project, and plenty of snacks along the way. It’s all about creativity, community, and having fun while building friendships and support networks.

For youth workers: We’re also launching a new practitioner network to support youth workers who identify as LGBTQIA+ and/or work with young people who do.
